TrueForm Epoxy

The Garage Floor, Elevated

A finished garage floor changes the whole room. Bare concrete dusts, stains and flakes under road salt; a properly installed epoxy system turns it into a bright, seamless, easy-clean surface that looks like a showroom and stands up to hot tires, salt brine, oil and dropped tools.

The difference between a floor that lasts and one that peels is preparation. DIY kits and quick jobs go over etched or barely cleaned concrete; we diamond-grind every garage slab, repair cracks and spalls, and then build the system in layers, typically an epoxy base coat, a decorative flake or solid colour, and a durable clear topcoat chosen for UV and abrasion resistance.

You choose the look: full-broadcast flake in dozens of colour blends, a clean solid colour, or a metallic finish for a garage that doubles as a showpiece. We help you pick a finish that suits how you use the space.

Questions

Garage Floor Epoxy: FAQs

How long before I can drive on my new garage floor?+

It depends on the system and temperature. Walk-on time is often the next day, and we usually recommend waiting a few days before parking vehicles. Your quote includes the timing for the system you choose.

Will hot tires lift the coating?+

Hot-tire pickup is a common problem with thin DIY kits applied over poorly prepared concrete. A diamond-ground slab and a professional-grade system are designed to resist it.

Can you coat a garage floor in winter?+

Coatings need the slab and air within the product's temperature range. Heated garages can be done year-round; unheated garages in deep winter may need milder weather or temporary heat. We check temperatures before scheduling.

Is an epoxy garage floor slippery?+

Flake floors have natural texture, and we can add a fine slip-resistant aggregate to the topcoat. Solid and metallic finishes are smoother, so we recommend texture for garages where snow and water come in.

What about my garage floor's cracks?+

We repair cracks, spalls and pitting before coating. Under a flake system, repaired cracks are hidden. Cracks that are still moving may show a hairline over time, and we will tell you if a crack looks structural.

Often paired with epoxy flake floors, polyaspartic floor coatings and metallic epoxy floors.
