Decorative Flake Floors, Made to Last
Flake floors are the most popular finish for garages for good reason. Coloured vinyl chips are broadcast into a wet epoxy base until the floor is fully covered, then the excess is scraped, and a clear topcoat locks it in. The result has a subtle, granite-like texture, hides dust and small imperfections, and gives you grip underfoot.
Flake comes in dozens of blends, from quiet greys and stone tones to bolder mixes, and in different chip sizes. Full broadcast gives the most durable, uniform finish; we can show you samples so you see the colour in real light.
Like all our systems, flake floors are installed over a diamond-ground, repaired slab, and the clear topcoat is chosen for UV stability and abrasion resistance.

Epoxy Flake Floors: FAQs
What is full-broadcast flake?+
The flake is thrown into the base coat until no base colour shows, then the loose flake is scraped off and sealed under a clear topcoat. It gives a thicker, more uniform and more forgiving floor than a light sprinkle of flake.
Does a flake floor hide dirt?+
Yes, the multi-coloured texture hides dust, small stains and minor imperfections far better than a solid colour, which is why it is popular in garages.
Can I see flake colours before choosing?+
Yes. We bring or send samples so you can see the blends in your own light, which matters because colours look different in a garage than on a screen.
